Boxers show skill in the ring at 21-bouts tournament

Boxing tournament does not hold back punches.

The Nkangala Boxing Organisation organised a boxing tournament to celebrate Youth Day.

 

Different clubs came to show their skills in the 21-bouts tournament held at Lynnville Hall on Friday, June 16. 

 

In bout 20 Levies Herman faced Erasmus Naude. Both boxers in the first round throw punches but Erasmus seems to be the stronger of the two and coming strong towards the end of the first round. 

 

In the second round, Erasmus continued where he left off in the first round but Levies countered punches. In the third round like the first round, both fighters went for the jugular and entertained the spectators. Erasmus won on points after a very exciting bout.

 

Alain Mpino faced Prince Ntombela in the last bout of the tournament held on Friday, June 16 at Lynnville Hall.

 

In the last bout of the tournament, Alain Mpino faced Prince Ntombela. Both these strong heavyweight boxers showed that they have prepared well for the fight as they throw all the punches in the book. 

 

In the second round Prince came forward and aimed for the body of his opponent.

 

In the last round, both boxers showed that they have reserved the best for the last and they also offered an entertaining three rounds of boxing.

 

In the end, Prince won in a split decision on points.
