Three suspects arrested for attempting to park stolen vehicle at police station
The suspects appeared before the Witbank Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, September 7 for possession of a reportedly hijacked vehicle.

According to the Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, suspects between the ages of 32 and 47 allegedly entered the premises of the police station on Tuesday, September 5 with a white double-cab Toyota Hilux bakkie that was reported hijacked in Diepsloot, Gauteng in November 2022.
Manamela said that the vehicle was noticed by a member of the Community Service Centre (CSC) who supposedly became suspicious when he saw the vehicle parked whilst occupants remained seated inside the car.
“The suspects disrespected the authorities when they tried to make themselves smart by parking a hijacked vehicle at Witbank Police Station,” said Manamela.
The suspects appeared before the Witbank Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, September 7 for possession of a reportedly hijacked vehicle.
“Further investigation will determine whether more charges can be added against the suspects,” Manamela concluded.
