WAU Soirée branch members ‘stirring up’ their monthly meeting with teaspoons
Members of the VLU Soirée Branch indulged in a delightful spread, all with teaspoons in hand. Every bite was a journey through time.
Members of the Woman’s Agricultural Union (WAU), Soirée branch gathered in high spirits for their much-anticipated monthly meeting.
This time, the agenda promised a delightful twist as attendees dove head-first into the fascinating world of teaspoons on Saturday, September 23.
The morning commenced with an engaging talk on the rich history of teaspoons, shedding light on the often overlooked utensils’ significance in our daily lives.

Letitia Galloway expressed her enthusiasm for the unique topic, stating, “It’s incredible to learn how something as simple as a teaspoon has played such an important role in our culinary history.”
After the enlightening discussion, the gathering transitioned to a more hands-on experience, relishing a spread of delectable eats and snacks, all designed to be savoured with a trusty teaspoon in hand.

From bite-sized treats to spoonable delights, the spread provided a delightful culinary journey, proving that teaspoons can be as versatile as they are historical.
In addition to the captivating exploration of teaspoons, the WAU Soirée branch had another exciting announcement to make.
The branch finalised the details for their upcoming ‘Human and Hound Walk’ set to take place at the picturesque Seekoeiwater plots on October 7, starting at 7:30.
