Love does not look like a bruised body says Phola Police

The campaign was held at St Margaret Church on Sunday, November 26

The theme for this year’s 16 Days of Activism Against Women and Children Abuse Awareness Campaign is ‘Unite! Invest to prevent violence against women and girls’.

It is for this reason that Phola Police took on the initiative and conducted an awareness campaign to help fight gender-based violence (GBV) against women and children.

The campaign was held on Sunday, November 26 at the St Margaret Church, which saw the congregants from the church and community members attend in their numbers respectively.

The police partnered with the Methodist Church, as well as the Community Policing Forum (CPF).

Phola Police communications official Sergeant Thabang Petros Ntuli presented a very profound speech concerning the 16 Days of Activism Against Women and Children Abuse, GBV, femicide and domestic violence.

“The campaign was successful. Thank you to St Margaret Church, Methodist Church and the CPF,” Ntuli said.
