Makause Combined School empowered against substance abuse and crime

Makause Combined School unites against drugs and crime with Phola SAPS and community partners.

Phola SAPS and the Community Policing Forum (CPF) held a successful awareness campaign at Makause Combined School as part of a proactive effort to tackle drug usage.

Sergeant Thabang Petros Ntuli spearheaded the project, which took place on Wednesday, January 31, to educate pupils about the dangers of drug use, the dangers of weaponry, and the prevention of criminal activity.

Key stakeholders, including the Foundation for Victims of Crime (Fovoc), the South African National Council on Alcoholism (Sanca), and others, collaborated to offer educational presentations.

Topics covered were drug awareness and bullying prevention measures.
