Miss Phola crowned on Human Rights Day
The purpose of the event was to educate the public and the youth about human rights.
Amid the crowning of the 2023/24 Miss Phola Queen, Phola Police conducted a Human Rights Awareness Campaign.

Sergeant and Phola Police Communications Liaison Petros Ntuli shared that the purpose of the awareness was to educate the public and the youth about human rights.

He also elaborated on the Bill of Rights enshrined in the Constitution of South Africa and emphasised Children’s Rights.

“We were also represented by Mrs Gabisile Ndakisa who is the Community Policing Forum secretary and Miss Yolanda Mashiana from the Youth Desk. In addition, the police were joined by Mr Jabulani Shezi and Miss Tshepiso Ramphamudi from the Foundation for Victims of Crime,” Ntuli mentioned.

The event took place at the Phola Apostolic Faith Mission Church on Saturday, March 16.
