A surveillance video captured a home invasion by three unknown suspects in Model Park
The video shows three suspects breaking the main bedroom sliding door
According to the homeowner who wished to remain anonymous, the incident happened on Sunday, May 19, at around 03:30.
The intruders broke into our home; they gained access by breaking the sliding door of our main bedroom,” the man informed.
He outlined that he was in KwaZulu-Natal with his wife and his children were home asleep during the housebreaking.
“It is scary to think of what could have happened to my children or if they found us in the bedroom as they gained access through our main bedroom. It is by the grace of God that my children did not hear anything, and the criminals just ransacked the house,” the man explained.
The distraught man said that when they came back, they found the sliding door slightly open.
When they checked, the suspects had stolen clothing items, tablets, cellphones, and jewelry before fleeing the scene.
In Extension 16 in Klipfontein, an elderly couple was robbed and assaulted by three suspects who posed as potential clients.
According to the police, the couple were at home on Saturday, June 1, when a white car suddenly stopped at their gate at around 16:30.
Two women and a man were supposedly inside the vehicle and claimed that they were

interested in buying the house.
When the couple let the suspects inside their home, it is alleged that the man (76) was forced to open a safe in the bedroom whilst the male suspect threatened his wife with a knife.
It is also said that the suspects allegedly took the elderly man’s 9mm Parabellum pistol, alongside two wedding rings and cellphones.
