Hockey fever hits Tasbet Park Primary School

Tasbet Primary’s Hockey Festival scores big with thrilling matches and a hat-trick of victories for the home team’s girls’ squad.

The hockey festival at Tasbet Park Primary School was a power play of fun, with teams gathering for a day of stick-handling, and goal-scoring excitement.

The festival which took place on Saturday, September 14 was well-supported and the highlight was definitely the ice-cream truck that provided sweet, cooling treats to keep players and spectators cool in the spring heat.

The gatekeepers – Thato Masemola, Thandeka Nhlapo, Rentia Jansen van Rensburg and Sonja Coetzee.

The mini-hockey stars from Reyno Ridge Primary stole the show, rocking their tutus and showing off their skills. Though they might not have had the perfect ball control, their spirit and determination were totally on point.
