What’s on my Christmas menu? A delicious seven-colour feast that’s sure to impress

My favourite Christmas meal

As Christmas approaches, I look forward to creating a special and memorable meal for my loved ones.

This year, I’m excited to share my tips and tricks for creating a stunning seven-colour Christmas feast that’s sure to impress.

For me, the key to a successful Christmas meal is to keep things simple, yet elegant.

That’s why I always start with a classic braai meat combination of boerewors, steak, and chicken.

There’s something special about the smell of sizzling meat on the braai that just screams Christmas.

But the real magic happens when you add a pop of colour to the table.

That’s where the seven-colour salad comes in.

I like to think of it as a rainbow on a plate – a vibrant and nutritious mix of colours that’s sure to delight both kids and adults.

My top tip for creating a stunning seven-colour salad is to think outside the box when it comes to ingredients.

Don’t be afraid to get creative and experiment with different colours and textures.

Some of my favourite ingredients to include are cherry tomatoes, red and yellow bell peppers, orange sweet potatoes, and purple cabbage.

Another key element to a successful Christmas meal is to make sure everything is perfectly balanced and seasoned.

I like to keep things simple with a light vinaigrette dressing that lets the natural flavours of the ingredients shine through.

Overall, creating a stunning seven-colour Christmas feast is all about having fun and being creative.

Don’t be afraid to experiment and try new things – and most importantly, enjoy the time spent with your loved ones.
