eMalahleni’s pothole crisis, residents are #Gatvol

Witbank News has joined forces with the community to identify the worst-affected areas.

eMalahleni residents are #Gatvol with the deteriorating state of their roads, plagued by massive potholes that are causing damage to vehicles and posing a safety risk to drivers.

WITBANK NEWS has joined forces with the community to identify the worst-affected areas, and the responses have been overwhelming.

Cornelia Williams, a concerned resident, pointed out the notorious road at the local stores in the Panorama stretch, warning drivers to be aware of the ‘huge’ potholes that litter the road.

Meanwhile, Pieter Viljoen highlighted the deplorable condition of the service road next to Watermeyer Street in Ward 33, “There are two patches that have been open for nearly two years now. Despite countless complaints, nothing has been done to address the issue.”

These testimonials are just the tip of the iceberg, as numerous residents have come forward to share their own horror stories of navigating eMalahleni’s potholed roads.
