School’s out – What do your young ones’ holidays look like?

As schools close on June 27 for the winter holidays, parents are stepping in to keep their children safe, entertained, and engaged until the new term starts on July 22.

As the second school term comes to an end on Friday, learners across eMalahleni are heading into a well-deserved winter holiday.

After a busy term that began on April 8, many families are now switching gears, moving from classroom routines to holiday fun and family bonding.

While learners enjoy the break, parents take centre stage in planning how to keep their children active, safe, and happy during the next three weeks.

Whether it’s local holiday clubs, sports camps, craft activities at home, or even a trip to visit loved ones, every family is finding their own way to make the most of the time off.
Others are enrolling their children in educational or creative programmes to keep their minds active while having fun.

So, what do your young ones’ holidays look like? Are you planning adventures, quiet home days, or something in between?

Let us know how you’re spending the break, and maybe inspire a few other parents while you’re at it.
