Just two days earlier, on October 10 at 04:20, another murder case was reported.

According to police, they were dispatched to Witbank Hospital, where a man from Kwa-Guqa was found deceased.

He had been admitted two days earlier with severe assault-related injuries. Hospital staff confirmed he passed away due to those injuries.
