A deadly week in the City of Coal has seen four men killed in separate shooting incidents in Vosman, Masakhane, Kwa-Guqa, and Klipfontein.
According to police, investigations are ongoing, and authorities are appealing to the public for information to help solve the cases.

Vosman Street race shooting
According to police, on November 2, around 23:00, a man was fatally shot following an alleged street race on Mathew Phosa Drive, Ext 7, Vosman. Officers reportedly found him lying between a blue and white Quantum and a grey Avanza with a gunshot wound to the right shoulder. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene. The suspect has been arrested and appeared in court on November 3.

Masakhane residential shooting
According to police, on November 2, officers were called to a residence in Masakhane after reports of gunfire. Police say they discovered a man deceased on a couch with multiple gunshot wounds. Forensic teams processed the scene, and the body was taken to the government mortuary for a post-mortem examination. Police add that no suspects have been identified, and they are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

Langenhoven Street shooting in Klipfontein
According to police, on October 31, an unknown assailant opened fire in Langenhoven Street, Klipfontein, after arriving in a white car. Police say one man was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Authorities continue to investigate, and no arrests have been made.
According to police, all the incidents remain under investigation, and anyone with relevant information is urged to contact the nearest police station.

Shisanyama in Kwa-Guqa shooting
Police are investigating a case of murder after a man was shot and killed near a shisanyama in Kwa-Guqa Extension 10.
According to police, on October 30 officers responded to a report of a shooting and found a man lying on the ground next to a house, bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds.
A blue BMW was found nearby with several cartridges and projectiles around it. The motive for the shooting is unknown, and the suspects remain at large.
