Mighty Rangers take the honours

The youth in Empumelelweni enjoyed the day out on the court and played their hearts out.

The development soccer and netball tournament hosted this past weekend in Empumelelweni proved to be a resounding success.

With the weather holding up throughout the day on November 7, the stage was perfectly set for the U15 sports stars to showcase their talent and compete fiercely for the popular trophy.

The event’s organiser, Siboniso Zwane, explained the deeper significance of the initiative, stating that its core aim is to help participants delve deeper into discipline, commitment, and teamwork.

“This was more than just a tournament. It served as a platform for social and personal development. The young sports stars channelled all their energy into the games, and that was the success of the day,” Siboniso said.

The winning netball team of the day was the Mighty Rangers ladies’ team.
