Dr Alex launches essential tool for crime solving
Through the “Criminal Minds Uncovered” book, the author unlocks the secrets behind forensic detection and criminal psychology.
Dr Alex B. Maseko has officially launched his highly anticipated debut book, Criminal Minds Uncovered, handing over the first signed hard copy to his mother, Pastor Salome Maseko.
The event, hosted on February 28, served as a dual celebration of the author’s birthday and the official launch of his new book, through which he unlocks the secrets behind forensic detection and criminal psychology.
During the launch, the double-doctorate powerhouse born and bred in eMalahleni emphasised that his book is an important tool for anyone interested in the science behind solving crime.
“Through my book, I aimed to share my knowledge and insights with a broader audience, to shed light on the intricacies of forensic psychology, and to explore the fascinating world of criminal minds,” Alex said.
The event brought together the author’s solid support structure, which included his family, friends, colleagues, and fans. It also featured profound speeches from his mentor, Prof Bishop Dununu Msibi, Brigadier Lindani Ndlovu from Vosman SAPS, and his niece, Sandy Mafolo, who all had great things to say about him.

“Alex wrote about something he knows, lives, and works every day, and that is an achievement we need to celebrate, not just today, but every time we come across him,” the brigadier said.
His mentor, on the other hand, expressed his pride and joy, seeing how far the author has come.
“I’m glad I’m leaving a scholastic legacy on Alex because what we see today are the results of a seed planted some years ago,” Bishop Dununu said. “I look at Alex and see a catalyst that is going to leave a fresh legacy to the second and third generation.”
The man of the moment was happy with the successful launch of his groundbreaking book, further commending everyone who continues to support him throughout his journey.
“To my readers, I invite you to join me on this captivating journey into the world of Forensic and Criminal Psychology. Let us explore the intricacies of the human mind together, and may this book inspire you to think differently about the world around you,” Alex said.
