Pop-Up Market sparks local business boom in eMalahleni

From handmade crafts to unique culinary delights, local entrepreneurs showcased their talent at the Emalahleni Pop-Up Market.

Local entrepreneurs were in the spotlight as the Emalahleni Local Municipality, in partnership with the Small Enterprise Development Finance Agency (SEDFA) and other key stakeholders, hosted a bustling pop-up market at Lynnville Park.

The event on March 7, held under the theme ‘Support local. Shop local. Grow local’ aimed to empower small businesses, strengthen the township economy, and give emerging entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their creativity, products, and services.

The market drew the community to explore a wide range of locally made goods, from handmade crafts and fashion items to innovative services and culinary delights.

Shoppers were encouraged to directly support township businesses, ensuring that their spending contributed to local economic growth.
