Klippies dads disconnect from busy schedules to connect with sons

From a classic braai and action-packed games, fathers and sons were ushered to an unforgettable experience at Laerskool Klipfontein.

Laerskool Klipfontein hosted a Father and Son evening for dads to spend time and connect with their sons.

The gathering on May 16 featured a variety of exciting activities for the fathers and sons to participate in.

Tjaart Olivier, Keagan Rautenbach, Chevandré and Chesney Gamba.

The activities included a good braai, some cricket, bowling, rugby, and more fun games.

Xavier Oosthuyzen and Mpho Mashilo.

“This is all about having time with your child. With all the busy time, we don’t have something like this,” said Chesney Gamba, the organiser of the event.

Christopher and Rearabilwe Madihlaba.

Chesney said the annual event was introduced last year, and for this year, they also had a camping session for the dads who were willing to brace the cold and be with their sons throughout the night.
