Morning of honour over breakfast for NLC ladies

The ladies' breakfast was not just about sitting around the table over a cup of tea; the guest speaker made it even more special with a heartfelt speech.

The women of New Life Church in Del Judor gathered for a ladies’ breakfast. Held at the church premises on Saturday, the event was a time of fellowship, reflection and spiritual nourishment. Guest speaker, Pastor Lorraine Baillie, delivered a powerful message centred on the biblical principle of honour, reminding attendees of the commandment, “Honour your father and mother”.

Baillie emphasised that honour is not only a duty but a blessing, shaping the way believers live in respect and gratitude toward those who came before them.

According to Jessica Betsva of New Life, gatherings like these are invaluable: “It’s always a blessing to have such opportunities with the elders of the church, as they are the vessels that carry the most important things.”

She further noted that the event was a celebration of unity, faith, and the strength found in shared experiences.
