With a 98.6% matric pass rate and strong performances in music, Philip Ndimande Secondary School continues to raise the bar.

Philip Ndimande Secondary School is placing itself firmly on the map as a school that excels both academically and culturally.

The school achieved an impressive 98.6% pass rate in the Grade 12 NSC 2025 examinations, reflecting a steady rise in performance over the past five years and a commitment to excellence in every area.


“This is a proud moment for our learners, teachers, and parents,” said principal Simon Mmakolo. “Our hard work is paying off, but we are not stopping here. We are already preparing to achieve 100% in 2026.”


Philip is also earning recognition for its outstanding contributions to the arts.

The school has consistently excelled in music competitions, securing second place in choral music in 2024 and 2025 at the prestigious ABC Motsepe Eisteddfod and recently earning accolades in the solo baritone category.
