TFC celebrates 7 years of sisterhood and growth

Throughout the years, the movement has become a safe space for women to connect, heal, and show up for one another.

The Flamboyance Clique (TFC) movement celebrated its seven-year journey with a Sacred Seven Matinée gathering, which honored growth, sisterhood, and intentional living.

Held on March 28, the gathering brought together women from different backgrounds with a sole focus on reflection, completion, and stepping into a new era.

“It was not only about looking back on the journey but also about embracing new beginnings and the continued growth of the movement,” said Nompumelelo Mondlane, TFC founder. “The Sacred Seven Matinée was about celebrating how far we’ve come, honouring the women who have been part of the journey, and stepping forward together into the next chapter of TFC.”

The gathering featured various speakers who shared their stories and enlightened the ladies on a range of topics, including financial wisdom, grace, eye health, and an overall look at the theme of the day.

Though they explored different topics, one thing they all stressed was the power of a gathering of that nature.

“We’re truly blessed to have been a part of such a gathering,” said Dr Charlotte Phatudi, one of the keynote speakers.

Patience Magagula, on the other hand, said, “It really was a sisterhood gathering where one finds healing. It was fulfilling and served as an assurance that you are not going through it alone; you have sisters.”

The founder said that over the years, TFC has evolved into more than just gatherings; it has become a safe space for women to connect, heal, and show up authentically for one another.

“Celebrating seven years was deeply meaningful for us because it represents a full circle and a sacred completion. Seven symbolises growth, reflection and new beginnings,” Nompumelelo said.

Everyone who attended agreed that the gathering was both fulfilling and refreshing.

“When the rain poured heavily right after we all said amen, it felt like heaven itself was responding. I received that moment as a confirmation that prayers were heard, answers were released, and something beautiful had shifted,” the founder said.
