COSAS brings change to Phillip Ndimande Secondary School

COSAS links education support with civic participation at Phillip Ndimande Secondary School.

Clean schools, active learners, and community unity – that was the focus of the COSAS ‘Rhandza Xikolo Xa Wena’ (Love Your School) cleaning campaign held at Phillip Ndimande Secondary School.

The initiative on May 19 brought together learners, stakeholders and community members in a drive to improve the school environment through cleaning activities and active participation.

A total of 196 learners and community members were registered for IEC voter registration, while 68 learners received assistance with NSFAS applications.

The campaign also saw the return and distribution of Grade 12 learner tablets, supporting digital learning for learners.

Provincial organiser for COSAS, Shaun Motsoeneng, said, “Following continued advocacy by COSAS for the return of learner tablets, we proudly witnessed learners receiving their devices, and the joy, excitement and motivation among learners was truly inspiring.”
