Future stars shine at mini-hockey festival
The games featured schools such as Robert Carruthers, Laerskool Panorama, and Laerskool Klipfontein.
Laerskool Taalfees hosted a lively mini-hockey festival on July 25, where learners from schools such as Laerskool Panorama, Laerskool Klipfontein, and Robert Carruthers gathered to showcase their skills.
The courts were filled with energy as the young players enjoyed a day of learning through play. As the games were informal, coaches guided the children, helping them build confidence while teamwork and sportsmanship were on full display.

The event was not only about hockey. The school’s majorettes added excitement with a vibrant performance, drawing attention from the crowd and adding to the festive energy.

Laerskool Taalfees expressed gratitude. “Our future hockey players showed off so much talent and teamwork on the field. A huge shout-out to our brilliant majorettes for lighting up the day with an amazing performance,” they said.
