8 Nkangala Athletic Academy athletes set to make their mark at national championships
Nkangala athletes ready to take on the best at the South African School Cross Country Championships.
Nkangala Athletic Academy (NAA) continues to demonstrate its growing strength in developing top talent, with its athletes proving they are on the right track and making their mark wherever they go.
NAA athletes who came back with four gold medals and one bronze medal at the Mpumalanga School Cross Country Championships on September 12 in Secunda are now set to take their talents to the national stage.

The athletes set to represent Mpumalanga in the South African School Cross Country Championships at Curro Midrand on October 3, are Mbekezeli Magagula (U12), Thandolwethu Motha (U15), Khethiwe Mlangeni (U17), Gugulethu Thanjekwayo (U17), Lesego Mabaso (U18), Ntando Sibeko (U12), Sibusiso Lokothwayo (U12) and Owami Mndebele (U12).

Coach Emmanuel Mabaso said: “This is our national treasure; it is always our aim to assist schools in our community in developing talent. They are just reluctant. I’m glad NAA could bridge the gap, ensuring children do get an opportunity to participate in national champs. A podium finish is guaranteed.”
