Goodbye

Thank you to Amanda Botha our editor for being the epitome of a leader and always caring for each and every one of us.

Sometimes we need to say goodbye in order to say hello to new things.

For the past three years I have been lucky enough to have been employed by the WITBANK NEWS.

It was an opportunity that came across my path and after having met with Amanda our editor, I knew this was where I was meant to be.

As the years passed I shared all of my milestones with my colleagues from meeting my future wife, showing the ring to Samantha before I was to propose, having them at my wedding and lastly have them meeting my daughter, Liah.

Through everything I shared it with them.

So today is a sad day to say goodbye for a new opportunity that awaits me.

Ever since I started writing this column I felt the need to share my life and experiences with the readers and also my opinions on the world and everything happening.

Being in a news environment, it’s easy to become sensitized to what happens and not ‘feeling’ what everyone else does and this column made me feel like I can keep that part in touch as I wrote my ‘feelings’ down.

So what I actually want to say is; thank you.

Thank you to Amanda Botha our editor for being the epitome of a leader and always caring for each and every one of us.

To my other colleagues for always being there to vent and also fighting the fights alongside me and lastly to everyone who has read this column and enjoyed it, thank you.

Until we meet again.

All my love, Stan Martin Kruger.
