Apparently our fearless leader has been found guilty for embezzling state funds into his beautiful compound by our highest court. Exactly zero people are surprised by this. I don’t know if anybody remembers that time when he was accused of accepting millions in bribe money from international arms manufactures. Good times…
That was before he was president and enough people voted for him to get him elected as president a year later. Now everyone wants him out.
You know I used to walk past a guy in the street ranting on about being from the future and saying that voting for him will not be a good idea. “Hey if Zuma can get acquitted from alleged corruption charges then the man is savvy. Who does not want a savvy president?” I ignorantly told myself. Apparently nobody does, they would much rather have an honest president. I had no idea.
Anyway the time traveling crazy man I hear has just finished building his time machine out of cardboard and discarded i-phones since the newest model is being released soon.
He says he is going back to steering our nation clear of the pot of hot water we find ourselves in. I told him “You should find a way to get Julius Malema elected as president. He is very menacing and thinks short term. Who does not want a president that thinks short term?” The crazy time traveler just shook his head at me as he stepped into his cardboard box (hunched uncomfortably). I was told later that this is exactly the opposite quality you need in world leaders.
Now we wait hoping the mysterious time traveler is able to change the outcome of our present president situation. If only we knew, if only we could have seen it coming. Don’t hold your breath though because the time traveler might actually just be crazy since he is still sitting there in his box making “whooshing” sounds. Hey what do I know about time travel or politics for that matter? Nothing…Why? Because Brian is a lazy slacker that’s why.
However I do know a thing or two about neurological disorders (again thanks to lovable Brian). A syndrome is an illness or disease or a condition with no confirmed medical cause. Doctors don’t know how it comes about or what exactly causes it. Everyone is acting like our country has economy syndrome but actually it is just a wart.
Keep it in mind when you go vote at the upcoming municipal elections. While it is true that many things effect economic growth and service delivery it is also true that who we elect to be responsible for these things definitely and directly affects them. I don’t care who you vote for just make sure you stay informed and make an informed decision on voting day. Brian is getting a gold star on his chart for that last line. That’ll do Brian, That’ll do.
