No municipal contact details work

Theo Van Vuuren should publish his telephone number and an e-mail address to contact him about problems.

There just does not appear to be any accountability or much action by the municipality when I have contacted them.

An e-mail is the easiest way to log a problem and then there is a record, should it need further action.

I find telephone calls only allow information to be taken. There is no reference number or feedback in regard to a problem reported.
Two persons beside myself contacted the Water Department in regards to a leaking main line in Clivea Street (off Ibis Street turn off from Sky Street) at Highveld Park on Friday May, 16  but it must have been a low priority since it is still leaking, on Monday. I have tried again three times today with no luck to contact the water department.

I have tried all the e-mail addresses published on the municipality website but none worked!

Telephone numbers often take a while to be answered if answered at all, usually Telkom tells you that there is no answer.

I do appreciate that with limited resources the priorities may change, but it is just frustrating dealing with what I perceive to be incompetence.
