Your votes pushed Margaret into the top six

eMalahleni’s Margaret Botha has made it through to the top six of Extreme Huntress.

Thanks to you Margaret is in the top six

Margaret will now be pitted against five other finalists to be narrowed down to the top four in the Extreme Huntress competition.

She will compete against the likes of Nikita Dalke from Columbia, Christie Pisani of Australia, Erika Bergmark from Sweden, Kasi Geraci from Texas and Amanda Caldwell from Montana.

“I want to thank everyone who voted and showed me their support, I also want to thank WITBANK NEWS for their article,” said Margaret.
Margaret entered the Extreme Huntress challenge believing she has what it takes to be the world’s number one female hunter and now she is ranked among the top six in the world thanks to the public’s votes.

She grew up being tutored by her dad and by age 12 had experienced the thrill of the hunt and killed her first buck, a young kudu bull. “I used a .22. Hunting as an adolescent girl was done with my dad or brother,” she said.

Margaret has been a member of the South African Hunters & Game Conservation Association since 2008.

Margaret was one of 20 semi-finalists and is now one of the six semi-finalists that will compete in Texas to prove their hunting ability.

Follow Margaret as she competes in the Extreme Huntress on the 777 Ranch in Hondo, Texas from July 9 to 13 with the hopes of being crowned ‘Extreme Huntress.
