Casino raises the ‘F.L.A.G’ with renovations

THE Peermont hotel group last week started its R4.3-million upgrade project at the Umfolozi Hotel, Casino and Convention Resort in Empangeni to modernise its F.L.A.G Café.
Peermont said the 46-seater restaurant overlooking the resort’s pool will be ‘rejuvenated with a modern look and intimate feel’ for diners.
The group is also refurbishing the bar located in the smoking area, expanding the casino restrooms and upgrading the Magic Company – the casino’s game arcade for youngsters.
‘We are very excited to announce these new developments to create an enhanced visitors experience,’ said Acting General Manager, Shailendra Kallideen.
‘During the month-long renovations, we will continue to strive to deliver high standards of service with guest satisfaction of paramount importance.’
