Getting into the Christmas spirit through art
THE St Catherine's School foundation phase (Grades 1-3) held their annual art festival over three days, during which classes bounced from class-to-class to complete different Christmas related projects.
The purpose of the festival was for the children to have some creative time towards the end of the year and help get into the Christmas spirit.
All children made the following items over the three days – Christmas stockings, mobiles and baubles, photo frames, triangular trees and snowmen.
This educational project allowed the children to explore their creative side.
