Flying dreams come true for two of Mevamhlophe girls

FOR Nomfundo Mabika (10) and Noxolo Mdletshe (12) of Mevamhlophe the 10 of January is the day they will never forget in their young lives as they got a chance to take to the skies.

The two girls’ dream of flying were realised when Neville Ritchie, together with Linda Zeelie of D.I.C.E gave them tickets for a flight at Richards Bay Air Carriers.

‘It was so nice to be in an aeroplane, flying up into the sky like that,’ the Grade four Nomfundo, who hopes to be a teacher when she grows up, said.

‘I was not afraid of being in an aeroplane and flying up into the sky,’ said Grade six pupil Noxolo.

The two girls both stay with their grandmothers, and said Friday 10 January is the day they will never forget in their lives. When they go back to school on Wednesday they will be telling all their friends about their adventure.
