Local choirs compete for national stage

The competition now heads to the provincial final.


ZULULAND’S high school pupils showcased their musical talent during the district-level programme of the 2026 ABC Motsepe South African School Choral Eisteddfod (SASCE) Championship.

Held in Empangeni, participating schools included Aquadene Secondary, Empangeni and Old Mill High Schools.


The competition now heads to the provincial final as part of the Department of Basic Education’s School Enrichment programme.
