LESS than a week after Mkhishwa Mnyandu’s photo was published in the Zululand Observer, he has been reunited with his very concerned family.
According to Mnyandu’s wife Thandekile he suffers from a mental illness but was released from Ngwelezane Hospital in 2010.
Keeping an eye on him, 24 hours a day, is difficult she said, and sometimes he slips away from the family.
However, after a friend told the family he had seen his photo in the paper and knew where he was, they were incredibly relieved.
‘We were over the moon when we saw his photo and we were able to find him. We were all so worried.
‘Thank you so much to the Zululand Observer, you have brought our family back together’ said a tearful Thandekile.
