Chunky cheque for animal welfare
The Richards Bay SPCA use between five to six 8kg bags of food per day.
NASHUA Zululand handed over a hefty R10 000 to the Richards Bay SPCA today, bringing much needed relief to the welfare organisation struggling with low food stocks.
‘We are passionate about helping local non-profit organisations, especially those in dire need of assistance,’ said Nashua’s Malcom Mersham.
‘Nashua will continue to support the SPCA by consistently donating dog and cat food going forward and we urge other organisations to get involved as well.’
SPCA Manager Kobie Littlejohn thanked the Nashua team.
‘People don’t realise we use between five to six 8kg bags of food per day.
‘We are always in need of food donations and solely rely on the generosity of organisations and community members to keep the neglected, surrendered and abused animals boarding here fed and looked after every day.’
