Poo fighters beat hasty retreat

Poo attack on ZO offices in Richards Bay causes a stink.

A WOMAN executing an obscene dance with demonstrative gestures took responsibility for a nauseating faecal attack on the Zululand Observer’s Richards Bay offices on Monday.

Shocked staff members arrived at the office to encounter a full-on olfactory assault caused by a cocktail of human faeces, urine and blood sprayed on the doors, burglar guards and undercover hall surrounding the corner office in the Partridge Place building and parts of the adjacent real estate office.

Admin staff Geraldine Narian and a pregnant Annalize Berry attempted to open the office’s entrance door to get a cleaning operation underway, but succumbed to gagging reflexes.

The horrible mixture was even sprayed under the doors.

Sales consultant Louise Calitz, known to be on her post come hell or high water, braved the stench inside for half-an-hour before running out with an ashen face, complaining of a splitting headache and waves of nausea.

Editorial staff frantically paged the Monday edition, fearing it to be a revenge attack because of a story, but the ‘who-dunnit’ hunt was short-lived.

Within minutes, the culprit returned to the ‘crime’ scene, taunting and mocking the building’s cleaning staff, taking full responsibility for the act and brazenly laughing in their faces.

Threats to call the police was met with expletives and rude suggestions.

It was later discovered that she also vomited inside the building.

Nobody dared approach the woman, who was still pushing a trolley with some unknown content.

At the time of going to print, the motive for the attack was unknown.

A professional company was called in to clean and disinfect the premises.
