Five dead, two injured in N2 smash

FIVE people have died and two more were injured in a crash involving two cars on the N2 near Pongola.

According to KZN EMS spokesperson, Robert McKenzie, the incident occurred last night.

‘Two people were treated by paramedics from EMS, both patients had sustained serious injuries,’ he said.

‘The patients were transported to a local hospital where they were handed over to medical teams for further treatment.’
