Mfolozi Mayor urges community to rally behind education

‘To have an efficient and successful school year, everybody needs to come together and be pillars of support so that teaching and learning can be successful,' said Mgenge

MFOLOZI Mayor Simangaliso Mgenge has urged parents, guardians and the entire community to rally behind the education of their children.

‘To have an efficient and successful school year, everybody needs to come together and be pillars of support so that teaching and learning can be successful,’ said Mgenge.

‘We hope that learners and teachers rested very well during the festive holidays, and that learners are entering the new school year with renewed vigour, eager to succeed academically.’

Mgenge urged parents to encourage their children so they can become better learners and members of society.

‘To the young learners who have just entered our schooling system for the very first time, we encourage them to do their very best and strive towards excellence.

‘We also want to encourage the Grade 12 learners to start the year with a plan of action that will lead them to success.

‘They must not allow any distractions to lead them astray.’
