AS lockdown regulations are easing and people are enjoying new levels of freedom, events and entertainment, both virtual and physical, are starting to be held once again.
With that in mind, here is a list of goings-on in and around Richards Bay and Empangeni, and surrounding areas, for the coming days.
SATURDAY, 5 SEPTEMBER, 9am – midday – Hluhluwe farmers’ market

Having grown from a single stall to seven market stalls, the fourth monthly Hluhluwe farmers’ market is just around the corner.
Homemade sewing, delicious baked goodies, fresh fruit and vegetables, pot plants as well as scrumptious food and coffee will all be on offer.
The market venue is Sibayeni Nursery and Ilala Weavers, at 1 Ngweni Road.

SATURDAY, 5 September: SANCA walk away from drugs goes virtual

SANCA Zululand has joined the realms of virtual fund-raisers, as its annual Walk away from drugs will this year go ahead in this format.
This, the 14th annual 5km fun walk is open to anyone who would like to participate.
The entry fee is R50.
