Death ends morning party in eSikahleni
The suspect was arrested and charged with murder, and is expected to appear in the eSikhawini District Magistrate Court
A FUN session with friends turned deadly in eMadlankala area outside eSikhaleni on Thursday morning.
Thando Mkhabela’s life was snuffed out like a candle when a friend shot her during a chilling session in one of the rental cottages at 10am.

According to reports, a group of female friends were consuming alcohol and having fun when a fight erupted.
In an attempt to restore peace, Thando is said to have intervened and managed to stop the fight.
However, reports suggest the fight instigator then shot Thando in the abdomen.
The innocent victim was rushed to Thokozani Clinic and then transferred to Ngwelezana Hospital where she spent a day in the Intensive Care Unit (Unit) and died on Friday morning.
A case of murder was opened with eSikhawini SAPS and the police went on a huge manhunt to locate the perpetrator.
The suspect was then arrested and charged with murder, and is expected to appear in the eSikhawini District Magistrate Court.
Meanwhile, Thando’s family and friends sadly mourn her death.
