RBCT stakeholder engagement 2020

Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) has, in the past year, invested more than R4-million in uplifting local communities at a time when it was most needed. This multi-million rand investment has been in the form of donations to some 31 regional non-profit organisations, as well as a Covid-19 relief drive to assist local communities.

The community driven relief initiative included the distribution of 964 food parcels as well as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as face masks to schools. The RBCT upliftment drive also took the form of infrastructure development, including the building of three new classrooms at Mfaniso Secondary School in KwaMthethwa, Dondotha.
