Don’t walk alone at night – Mtubatuba SAPS

This warning comes after a man was shot while walking at night

MTUBATUBA police have urged residents to avoid walking alone at night because they become easy targets for criminals.

This warning comes after a 38-year-old man was shot twice while walking alone in Ndlovu Village recently.

Mtubatuba police spokesperson, Captain Justice Hlabisa said the victim was shot in his left thigh and left arm by unknown assailants.

‘According to the victim, he was approached by two men and they, without saying a word, fired two shots in his direction.

‘The wounded victim crawled to the nearest homestead to ask for help and was rushed to the KwaMsane clinic for treatment.’

Hlabisa requested anyone with information about the incident to contact him on 064 7331128.
