eSikhaleni escaped detainees nabbed, one still at large

They will be charged at eSikhaleni SAPS for escaping and will appear at eSikhaleni Magistrate's Court.

THREE of four detainees who escaped from the eSikhaleni Magistrate’s Court on 27 July were rearrested last week.

1. Nkanyiso Makhanya (18) who was detained at eSikhaleni for house break-in with intent to rob and robbery, robbery with aggravating circumstances, and attempted murder

2. Phiwayinkosi Mthembu (18) who was also detained in eSikhaleni for house break-in with intent to rob and robbery, robbery with aggravating circumstances, and attempted murder

3. Ntethelelo Mjadu (18) who was detained in eSikhaleni for robbery with aggravating circumstances

4. Sifiso Mabhicongo Magwaza (25) who was detained in eSikhaleni for robbery with aggravating circumstances Ntethelelo Mjadu was on 28 July arrested at Ndindima area in eSikhaleni, and appeared in court for the escaping charge. Phiwayinkosi Mthembu and Nkanyiso Makhanya were successfully rearrested in the Madlankala area in eSikhaleni on 4 August.

They will be charged at eSikhaleni SAPS for escaping and will appear at eSikhaleni Magistrate’s Court. Sifiso Mabhicongo Magwaza is still at large.
