Vodacom Empangeni back and better than ever

The brand's new-look store was recently launched in Zululand

AS part of its post-looting rebuilding, Vodacom last week launched the brand’s new-look store in Zululand, at Sanlam Centre in Empangeni.

This is significant, not only for Vodacom, but also for Sanlam Centre and the store owner as this particular store was one of the first to be looted during the July civil unrest.

Cutting the ribbon to celebrate the grand opening

Zululand Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ZCCI) president Thami Sithole attended the grand opening and cut the ribbon.

‘I must say I would not have missed this event for the world. I flew over Sanlam Centre in a helicopter on 12 July, and it was devastating to see,’ said Sithole.

‘I don’t think anyone believed the centre would be operational again within such a short span of time.’

Staff are ready to serve the public
Management was ecstatic at the reopening of the premises.

‘I feel like we are picking up from where we left off before the looting, and that both my store and other Vodacom stores around the country are moving into the future,’ said a member of senior management.

Reopening was a huge success, with many happy customers

Customers can look forward to some amazing deals in the run-up to Black Friday, as well as on the day.

Vodacom Empangeni’s new look suits the brand well; its sleek-looking and modern store perfectly displaying all accessories neatly on the wall, with devices housed on intuitive circular central islands.
