About the opportunity

Nyanza Light Metals, a leading manufacturer of world-class TiO₂ pigments, is proud to partner with Ingqikithi Consulting, a reputable skills development organisation committed to empowering South Africa’s youth through impactful workplace readiness and training programmes. Together, we are hosting various graduate development opportunities based in Richards Bay as part of a collaborative initiative aimed at providing young graduates with practical industry exposure, workplace skills and improved employability.

Programme purpose

To develop a sustainable pipeline of qualified individuals for critical roles within Nyanza Light Metals. The programme allows graduates to gain valuable workplace experience and industry exposure, enhancing their readiness for future employment.

Fields of study required

  • Chemical Engineering x3
  • Analytical Chemistry / Chemistry / Applied Chemistry x2
  • Safety Management x2

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist with operational and technical support activities as per the relevant field of learning/study
  • Develop through a practical training programme to gain experience in the implementation of the relevant field of learning/study
  • Assist with the daily operational activities within the respective discipline’s department
  • Ensure all day-to-day activities are handled accurately, courteously and promptly, adhering to current business standards
  • Apply theoretical knowledge in the workplace
  • Adhere to Zero Harm
  • Comply with Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality regulations

Qualifications and experience

  • Completed a relevant bachelor’s degree or national diploma
  • Less than one year of work experience in the field
  • Must be medically fit to perform duties
