Three brazen suspects accused of robbing nurses and security guards at the Thokozani Clinic in eSikhaleni were apprehended shortly after the incident.

The trio armed with two pistols, arrived at the clinic on Tuesday night, supposedly seeking medical help.

King Cetshwayo police cluster spokesperson, Captain Siyanda Shangase said the suspects held the victims at gunpoint demanding cash and cell phones from the nurses and guards working at the clinic.

“They also used pepper spray on the victims. Police were alerted about the incident and swiftly made an arrest. The suspects are aged between 24 and 26. They are expected to appear at eSikhaleni Magistrate’s Court soon,” he said.
