eShowe SAPS issued warrant of arrest for murder case

Eshowe SAPS is asking the public for assistance in the whereabouts of a man believed to have information about a multiple murder case.

SAPS has obtained a warrant of arrest for Sicelo Dambayi Sikakane, who has possible information connected to the murder of three people, and attempted murder of two.

The incident occurred on 12 April at Emntilombo reserve outside eShowe.

King Cetshwayo Cluster spokesperson Captain Siyanda Shangase said suspects went to a homestead at around 9.45pm on the date in question.

They reportedly arrived at the premises looking for someone, but immediately began firing at the residents.

One man was shot and killed outside the house before the suspects entered the home where they killed two more residents and left another two seriously wounded.

“One suspect was arrested the following day and the other is still at large. We strongly believe Sicelo Dambayi Sikakane can assist us with more information. He is about 1.7m tall, dark in complexion, and well-built,” said Shangase.
