Zululanders in for sizzling Saturday
Richards Bay will be subjected to a scalding 40 degrees Celsius

Dust off your swimming trunks and douse yourself in suntan lotion because tomorrow (Saturday) is going to be a scorcher in Zululand, with Richards Bay, Pongola, and Hluhluwe bearing the brunt.
Residents of, and visitors to, Richards Bay will no doubt make Saturday a beach day as the town will be subjected to a scalding 40 degrees Celsius.

Pongola will reach a high of 39 degrees, while Hluhluwe can expect 38.
Empangeni can expect 37 degrees, while Mtubatuba will reach a moderate 32 degrees, and eShowe 34.

The scorcher will be short-lived, however, as temperatures plummet on Sunday to a chilly 18 degrees with 75% chance of rain in Richards Bay, 19 and wet for Hluhluwe, and 21 and cloudy for Pongola.
Empangeni can expect 18 with 88% chance of rain on Sunday, an icy and wet 15 for eShowe, and 19 with rain in Mtubatuba.
