In his address to the community, Mdaka broke down the comprehensive nature of the plan, which he said began with a grassroots survey to ensure perpetual access to clean water.

He further announced the implementation of boreholes, the drilling of which, he said, demonstrated the municipality’s commitment to swift action.

“Production boreholes reaching 250m deep will be strategically placed, accompanied by extensive water treatment processes, assuring a sustained water supply to households,” said Mdaka.

While job opportunities will be abundant, the mayor stressed the need for community members over the age of 35 to seize this chance.

Mdaka expressed his confidence in the plan, and assured residents there would be daily progress towards achieving the municipality’s water delivery goals.

The community, in general, responded positively to Mdaka’s plan and expressed a collective sigh of relief.
