Truck, taxi accident claims two lives on N2

A SERIOUS accident involving a truck and a taxi on the N2 about 12km south of Hluhluwe reportedly claimed two lives.

The collision occurred this morning (Thursday) in the vicinity of the Bonjour petrol station near Hluhluwe and Mtubatuba.

The national route was partially closed while paramedics worked to attend to the injured and other emergency services cleared the debris.

According to unconfirmed reports, a truck transporting logs collided with a taxi owned by a private company.
