Rampant Hluhluwe got back to winning ways last Friday after bouncing back from a loss against Empangeni Rhinos two weeks ago.
This after they thrashed Pongola 65-0, which takes them to second place on the Stewart Shield log, just behind Eshowe Rugby Club who have not lost a game in the competition.
However, with a break this weekend, all teams will want to go back to the drawing board and train harder to fight for the cup.
“We are proud of the boys, they played structured rugby and that is why we got that result. Well done to a young Pongola side that never gave up and played right to the end,” said Hluhluwe coach Claude Malan.
