WATCH: Firefighters battle Mtubatuba structural blaze

Onlookers gathered at the site of the building fire in Mtubatuba town centre, with fears that the blaze could spread to adjacent buildings

EMERGENCY services are on the scene of a building fire in Mtubatuba town this (Tuesday) morning.

With video footage circulating on social media, showing what appears to be at least a two-storey building ablaze, a second video shows firefighters arriving on scene with seemingly inadequate vehicles and equipment.

A crowd of onlookers gathered as the fire took hold during morning rush hour in the town centre, with fears that the blaze could spread to adjacent buildings.

Information is sketchy at this point, but we will keep you abreast of this developing story.
